Psalm 65: 9, 11 – ‘You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it. You drench its furrows and level its ridges; you soften it with showers and bless its crops. You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.’
Not only has God overlooked our sin and forgiven us, He has chosen to bless us. This can happen through the land we live in. He provides rain for things to grow and multiply on this earth. Each year we add to our veggie garden through the abundance of others wanting to share with us. In turn, we are able to give to others and help them grow a harvest they can gain from and bless still others with.
God wants our lives to be abundantly enriched! Why? Because He loves us! And if we have more than enough, will we not be able and ready to abundantly enrich another’s life?
Wealth is of no value hoarded. Wealth is to be used in love to bless others as Christ has first blessed us. We are abundantly enriched by God’s provision. Recognise today that you are abundantly enriched. Now consider how you can enrich someone else’s life with the abundance that you have been blessed with.
