Acts 2: 45, 47 – ‘Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need… praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.’
When we give to help others, it show’s God’s love for His people. As we are generous, we are instruments of God’s generosity and He blesses us for it. As we show the characteristics of God, people are drawn to us; they benefit from us. They want to know about God and come into relationship with Him.
When we benefit others in whatever way we can, they too benefit us however they can. As wealthy Christians, we can encourage others – our spouse, our children – to be good stewards and to act in ways that generate wealth. Further to this, we can encourage them to use this wealth to bless others.
If many wealthy Christians are working together to benefit each other – and those less fortunate – then we can only move forward in leaps and bounds. Imagine you gain wealth and bless your children with it. You also teach them faith wealth principles. They consequently grow wealthier than you due to their acquired wealth at a young age. They teach their children who grow even wealthier; the cycle continues.
Added to their Number Daily
The more wealth we have, the more we can benefit others. As we do so in Christ’s name, others will come to know Him and learn to be good stewards of what they’re blessed with. It’s an upward positive spiral. Provide God with the opportunity to add to your number daily, those who are to come into relationship with Him.
Wealth tip – meal plan; organising what you will cook each week or month will help you to utilise what you have bought, rather than leave food unused in cupboards and buy other things.
